Since October 1st, 2022, the Ministry of Finance has launched the "Local Tax LINE Official Account" (Line ID: @local_tax), an official LINE account for local taxes that provides digital services for citizens to stay up-to-date on their local tax obligations.

The "Local Tax LINE Official Account" offers three different levels of membership - friend, regular, and advanced - providing corresponding digital services such as "Video Chat Customer Service," "Service of the Pre-calculation of local tax," "Tax-Saving Tips," "Intelligent Customer Service," "Special Promotions Information," "Government Office Map," "Latest News," "Online Tax Payment," and "Real Estate Information."

Citizens who join the "Local Tax LINE Official Account" can immediately access information about local tax services nationwide as a friend member. Upgrading to a regular member allows subscribers to access information about county and city taxes. Advanced membership is available through binding with mobile citizen certificates, personal identity certificates, and registered health insurance cards, which offer customized information.

Starting May 1st, 2023, during the tax collection period for House Tax, Land Value Tax, and Vehicle License Tax, advanced members will receive exclusive push notifications.

Starting in May 2023, during the House Tax collection period, advanced members can access the online House Tax payment notification system. By clicking on the notification, they can enter the "online tax payment" function, which displays the number of payments and basic information, allowing citizens to link directly to the online tax payment service website (Paytax) and pay their taxes without having to enter complicated information. This saves time and is environmentally friendly.
