The Ministry of Finances e-Invoice Team is honored with the 6th Government Service Quality Award

  When the results of the 6th Government Service Quality Awards conducted by the National Development Council (NDC)were announced, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) had won a special award for "Promote e-invoice, create i-life (e-Invoice team)" ‧
  The Government Service Quality Awards held by the NDC are the highest honor for government agencies providing excellent service quality. The awards have been held six times since 2008; apart from awards for "First-Line Service Agencies" and "Service Planning Agencies," the most recent awards added a "Special Award," which is given to agencies that have made outstanding contributions to improve service process , and achieve tangible benefits.
  According to Su, Chun-Jung, General Director of the MOF's Fiscal Information Agency(FIA), the MOF will continue to review and improve its e-invoice implementation methods. And in order to increase the usage of e-invoices and boost policy synergy, e-invoice team have been organized spanning 13 ministries and 23 agencies. The e-invoice team have been given a mission of diagnosing problems, drafting strategies, vigorously undertaking implementation, and realizing performance management, with the ultimate goals of "reengineering government procurement and reporting processes," "improving public smart consumption processes," and "improving corporate e-management processes." It should be noted that the MOF's efforts to reduce paper consumption, lessen carbon emissions, and achieve overall economic benefit have yielded notable success.
  According to the FIA, receiving this award can be considered a major honor and encouragement for the members of the e-invoice team. In the future, e-invoice team will continue to make further progress, welcome support and feedback from the public.
